It's that situation many have faced. Not only you want to see your family, but you also have moved to a great new city and would love to show it to them…but you're limited on space and you know they wouldn't be thrilled being invited to stay with you…using sleeping bags! I've finally lured my family to come visit by showing them these great sofa beds that I got, one for the living room and one for my spare room, which is usually my office. For the office, I found a comfy 2 seater sofa, so it works well for the space, while still providing a good sleep surface for guests. I've finally convinced my family members that it's safe to come stay with me! Of course, they could stay in a hotel, but then you lose those fun moments of late-night talks before going to sleep, waking up and sharing that first cup of coffee over more conversation together. Those are precious moments I don't want to miss!

The best home interiors in Oregon are on display at the Street of Dreams event in Portland. Interior design at one of the featured homes includes luxury touches like dark wood floors, outdoor kitchen and free standing tubs.
These represent some of the latest trends in the interior design industry, and this year's show features a special NW Natural Street of Dreams with five eco friendly homes which are all certified by Earth Advantage. One of these homes boasts a freewatt energy system powered by natural gas which can manufacture its own electricity and heat the home simultaneously. This system recycles heat from the natural gas generator to the heater, essentially using the fuel twice. The show also features some of the latest innovations in home technology, such as the Skylink Home wireless remote that allows automated control of your whole house.
